Three students were shot outside of a Pittsburgh-area high school on Wednesday, according to school officials. According to Pittsburgh school district spokeswoman Ebony Pugh, the students were shot on their way to their vehicle just outside of Brashear High School by an unknown assailant.
The injuries were not fatal, as one student received wounds in the foot and arm and the other two were grazed in the head. Pugh stated that despite the incident occurring outside of school grounds, one student was found on campus, and it is assumed that the student ran onto the school’s campus or was taken there by emergency crews.
Roads are closed around the school’s area as the investigation to find the gunman continues.
